RWS Järvastaden was founded in 2017 and now has about 800 students in primary and middle school, grades F-5. The school is located in the new district of Järvastaden and operates under the motto 'The school in the village'. Close to the school is our preschool, RWF Järvastaden, with over 200 children. Our students who leave middle school can continue to our secondary school RWS Bagartorp, which is also nearby. We have a health profile at the school and see movement as a prerequisite for learning. Well-being leaders are responsible for organizing activities during breaks.

Do you want to help create safe, stimulating, and developing leisure environments for students from preschool to grade 5? Raoul Wallenberg School Järvastaden is now looking for an engaged leisure leader to join our dynamic team!

About the role of Leisure Leader F-5

In your role as a leisure leader, you will be responsible, together with colleagues, for planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and educational elements for students from preschool to grade 5 at the leisure center. You support the students' social development and learning by creating a joyful, safe, and meaningful stay before and after school as well as during breaks.

Examples of tasks for leisure leaders in primary school

• Plan and lead varied activities that promote movement, creativity, collaboration, and learning
• Work according to applicable governing documents and the school's core values
• Contribute to a positive climate and develop relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Develop the operations together with the work team
• Act as support for students both individually and in groups
• Collaborate actively with school staff to provide students with a holistic and continuous day

We are looking for you who want to be a leisure leader for grades F-5

• Have education in pedagogy or leisure centers, or relevant experience working in leisure centers or schools
• Are curious, proactive, and can create engagement among children
• Approach all students without prejudice and work for everyone's equal value
• Are flexible, solution-focused, and used to collaborating in teams
• Have the ability to work independently and possess a secure leadership style
• Express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Employment form and start date for the position of leisure leader F-5

The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month initial probationary period. Start date is according to agreement.
