Responsibilities for you as a City Network Technician include:

• ensuring our active network is in top shape – from new construction to operation and maintenance.
• collaborating with operators, service providers, and other partners to deliver at the highest level.
• working proactively on performance and developing innovative solutions.
• playing a central role in everything from troubleshooting, change projects to documentation and IT security. Please note that on-call duty is included in the role.

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in IT/data communication or equivalent competence in routing, switching, network protocols, server environments, and security, preferably with several years of experience in communication solutions. We value deep knowledge and experience in server operations in virtual environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance with Linux operating systems. You are service-oriented, solution-focused, and enjoy staying at the forefront of technological development. You can work independently but also together with others in our team. A driver's license is required.

You will be employed by Netsam AB, a communication operator owned by Jönköping Energi and Habo Energi.
