Focus in your role
As an IFS Specialist at Orkla House Care, your main responsibility will be to take ownership of the recently implemented Global OHC IFS ERP solution and associated processes. Part of the responsibility will involve understanding our current setup and working to optimize it in future upgrades and projects. As an IFS Specialist, you will also play an important role in building up the capacity for our internal IFS competence.
The solution has currently been implemented in the UK, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, while Belgium, the Netherlands, and China are next in line. As our new IFS Specialist, you will not only participate in the journey – you will also help to map it out!
Below we list your main responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for OHC's global IFS ERP solutions and other applications/platforms included in the same portfolio.
- Build an internal IFS community within Orkla House Care and train the designated resources.
- Understand business needs and work on implementing improvements.
- Manage minor adjustments that do not concern the global setup.
- Create reports and lobby elements within IFS.
- Manage IFS-specific integration for current and future needs.
- Prepare and quality assure solution design.
- Ensure that technical improvements of existing solutions are implemented correctly.
If we could wish
We don’t know who you are – yet, but we have a good idea of what you bring with you from previous experiences:
- Broad understanding and in-depth experience of modern IFS solutions.
- Good understanding of modern architectural principles and integrations.
- Broad technical insight and experience from implementing ERP projects. Experience in implementing/replacing business systems will be particularly important.
- Experience working across countries and cultures is also an advantage.
- You should be fluent in a Scandinavian language and have good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form.

This is a role that involves many contacts both internally and externally, so we are looking for someone who is relationship-oriented, has an easy time building trust, and comes across as confident. This means you need to be someone who listens, understands, and respects others while also being clear and demanding when necessary.
Furthermore, we see that you can handle many tasks simultaneously, even under high tempo and time pressure. You are analytical and structured, work proactively, but also function solution-oriented when needed.

- The position is a permanent full-time employment.
- Placement will either be at our headquarters in Skøyen, Oslo or in Bankeryd, Sweden, depending on your starting point.
