Randstad Digital are now looking for a senior data engineer for a full-time assignment with a possibility to work remotely 75% of the time. You are expected to spend at least two days per month on site in Huskvarna.

In this assignment you will be part of a small big data team with innovation and a positive work environment as guiding values.

For this position you will be employed as a consultant with Randstad, unfortunately we can not collaborate with subcontractors for this assignment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.

Create and maintain pipelines in Databricks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Implement robust security measures and data protection mechanisms.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and innovations in web development.

Qualifications

We are looking for a senior data engineer and to qualify for the position you need to have extensive knowledge in Python, PySpark and Django. You also need to have practical experience in DevOps practices and automation tools and deployment processes.

Merited skills:

AWS: Experience with AWS services is highly desirable.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with infrastructure as code solutions, such as Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.

DataBricks: Experience in building and maintaining big data pipelines.

Personal qualifications that are valued here are being a good listener and having good communication skills as well as being self-driven and taking initiatives.
