Attendo Topelius is a nursing home located in Nyby in northern Uppsala, near Old Uppsala. We have room for 80 happy retirees spread over four floors, with half of the residents living in dementia units, 20 residents per unit.

As a person, you are meticulous and engaged with the customers and their relatives. You find it easy to collaborate, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.

Job Description

We are now looking for a trained nursing assistant who is driven by working with people and wants to make a real difference for customers every day. You have the ability to empower and support customers in all aspects of daily life.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a wonderful team with other nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We work with a contact person system and advocacy functions.

The position is a permanent employment of 70-90%.

It is an advantage if you have experience from care work in elderly care and delegation.

We are looking for you with nursing assistant training and experience in care work.

• Nursing assistant training (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 credits.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)
• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

You enjoy providing good service, building great relationships, and want to enhance the quality of life for our customers. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about elderly care and can see the individual’s needs. Having a leadership role is stimulating, and you enjoy mentoring your colleagues in health and medical care issues.
