Bid and Sales Manager - Public Sector

Do you thrive in environments where the opportunities to drive real impact in the public sector are endless? As a Bid and Sales Manager, you will have a central dual role responsible for both business development and bid management. You will be key to establishing and expanding Grale's presence in municipalities, regions, government agencies, and publicly owned companies. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, navigating procurement processes, and building strong relationships to drive our business forward.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategy & Bid Management

  • Lead and coordinate the entire bidding process from prospecting to submission.
  • Develop winning strategies and business logic in bid documents.
  • Ensure bid content is procurement-compliant and competitive.
  • Share knowledge and best practices internally.

Sales & Relationship Building

  • Identify and engage decision-makers in the public sector.
  • Build long-term relationships for repeat business.
  • Negotiate framework agreements and sign contracts directly with authorities and municipalities.
  • Combine sales meetings with insights and advice on sustainability solutions.
  • Use CRM for pipeline management, bids, and customer follow-up.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in public procurement and B2G sales - preferably in a commercial role focused on municipalities or government agencies.
  • Good knowledge of public procurement legislation (LOU, innovation procurement, feasibility studies).
  • Experience in closing direct agreements with municipalities within procurement limits.
  • Background in selling physical products is a plus - preferably in related industries.
  • Experience navigating municipal budgets, procurement cycles, and procurement tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills - both in Swedish and English.
