About the role We are looking for someone with an educational background as a nursing assistant, preferably with further education in psychiatry, social work, social pedagogy, treatment pedagogy, or treatment assistant. Previous experience in psychiatric care or knowledge of various treatment methods is an advantage. You will work awake nights, which may possibly be combined with evening shifts. You will work in a team, and your tasks will be to support clients in psychiatric rehabilitation as well as in everyday activities. On-call duty at home may occur, and in such cases, you need to be able to arrive at Österlen HVB within approximately 30 minutes, so a long commuting distance to work is not feasible. You will also receive delegation to handle and distribute medication. Previous experience with this is advantageous.
About the unit Nytida Österlen is a HVB (home for care and accommodation). We welcome men and women over 21 years old with mental disabilities, even in combination with substance abuse. We work towards long-term goals with a focus on strengthening the healthy.
