In our financial assistance unit, we have a team consisting of 7 caseworkers and 1 unit manager. We work based on the needs of our clients and collaborate closely with each other as well as with our ten colleagues in the labor market unit. Together, we have a strong focus on our customers.

We are located in our newly built municipal building in Broby, in a modern and inspiring work environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a social worker for financial assistance, you will investigate the right to financial assistance and follow up on cases to support our clients towards self-sufficiency. Your work will focus on helping individuals achieve an independent life through close cooperation with other authorities and units within the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. Training in social law is a requirement. Previous experience in investigative work within social services is advantageous, but we also value your personal suitability and engagement. Personal suitability may be decisive.

You have a good understanding of current legislation and the functions of society at large. You are interested in labor market issues and rehabilitation and have the ability to find creative solutions. With a positive view of people, you have the ability to meet different individuals in various life situations.

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their tasks and has a good ability to structure their work. You express yourself well, both orally and in writing in Swedish, and preferably in English. You have a good ability to listen to different perspectives and collaborate with various operations and people.

You are interested in learning and developing in your work and take responsibility for your knowledge development. You have good computer skills and documentation ability. Experience with operational systems for social services, particularly TRESERVA, is advantageous. A B driver's license is required as travel may occur in the job.
