The Swedish Tourist Association operates eight mountain stations - we are now looking for guides for STF's mountain stations.

Working at a mountain station is never the same day twice. As a guide, you will be an important part of ensuring that every guest has a memorable overall experience at the mountain station. With us, you will take on significant responsibility in shaping the guest's experience. Life at a mountain station is varied, exciting, and educational, just like a day in the mountains can be. As part of the mountain station, you will work in a close-knit team that supports each other and helps out in other areas of the mountain station if needed. What does the role of mountain guide entail?

• Guiding groups together with a colleague or alone during day and evening hours, primarily in the local area but also on multi-day tours
• Having a strong focus on safety
• Working in rentals or information and assisting guests in renting equipment for upcoming adventures and answering questions
• Possibly supporting the mountain station in other tasks

Who are you?

• REQUIREMENTS: Have the mountain leader certification or equivalent
• Be in good physical shape as guiding can last for hours and be physically challenging
• A team player who loves to collaborate and values order and structure
• Takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Other languages are a plus.
• Holds a B driver's license

Information about the positions

• Seasonal employment with different start and end dates depending on the facility
• Between 80 and 100%
• Work schedule follows the needs of the business and includes work on both weekdays and weekends, during the day and evening
• Salary according to the collective agreement Visita/HRF, Tourist supplement
• Meal deductions according to the collective agreement

Our mountain facilities have different opening hours, the dates listed below represent a full season. We prioritize applicants who can work the entire season, but we are also looking for employees for both longer and shorter employment as well as after the regular season.
