As a residential support worker, you work at one of our residences to support, motivate, and stimulate the individual's own ability to perform daily activities. You work to provide each customer with individually tailored support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their everyday life.

The residential support is granted for individuals with various types of disabilities, which is why the individuals' skills, needs, and development guide our efforts. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.

The tasks of a residential support worker include documentation, the establishment of implementation plans, and contact management. Examples of tasks:

• Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, making beds
• Documentation and reporting
• Outings, walks, exercise, and activities
• Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet visits, support, social presence
• Support and motivate the customer for increased independence in their daily life

Working hours are scheduled according to the customers' needs and vary between day, evening, and night shifts, both weekdays and weekends.

Näsbyvägen At Näsbyvägen in Täby, we offer seven fully equipped apartments distributed over two floors. The accommodation is aimed at adults with Asperger's syndrome. Each resident has their own apartment with a separate entrance, as well as access to common areas for meals and social interaction. Our staff are on-site to provide individually tailored support in everyday life – focusing on structure, routines, and planning.

Kaveldunet Kaveldunet is a service housing with six places, located in a quiet residential area in northern Täby – close to nature, recreation, and with good bus connections to Täby, Arninge, and Vallentuna. Here, each resident has their own apartment, as well as access to common areas for activities and socializing. The operation is staffed around the clock with sleeping on-call duty at night. The target group is adults with mild intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions.

Our experience

We have extensive experience working with individuals with Asperger's syndrome, but also with ADHD, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, and eating disorders.

Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. 

• We prefer that you are a nursing assistant, childcare worker, or have another equivalent education.
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience working with LSS and have care experience.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We prefer that you have good physical ability.

Employment type: Permanent with a six-month initial probationary period.

Scope: Full-time or as agreed

Start date: as soon as possible or as agreed

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
