We are now looking for a housing supporter to our team at Solsta group home. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position is a 85% job. About Solsta
The residence is aimed at those who belong to LSS person group 1, with diagnoses such as autism spectrum or intellectual disabilities. Our goal at Solsta is to provide those living there with a safe and stimulating everyday life that leads to increased independence and quality of life. We base our work on their unique conditions, strengths, interests, and needs so that they can develop and feel good. Staff is available around the clock to provide the support you need. The residents live in their own apartments that are adapted to their needs and also have access to common areas where everyone can socialize with staff and neighbors. Solsta is close to nature, and a few hundred meters away there is a lake where you can fish and grill. Solsta is located three kilometers from Lindholmen in Vallentuna. A driver's license is required to reach the residence as buses run very infrequently.
About the role In the role of housing supporter, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.
Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in care and nursing or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our residents' best interests in mind in everything you do.
