Your role
We are looking for a social worker for our reception group. The group is part of the Reception and Investigation Unit for Youth, Family, and Disabilities, which is included in the Child and Family Area. We work family-oriented, meaning the entire family system should receive a comprehensive and coordinated needs assessment. It is important for us that you also want to continue improving the unit's work with children, youth, and their families. We need you who are driven by interest in development issues, quality assurance, employee support, and team-based working methods.
In the unit for Reception and Investigation of Youth, Family, and Disabilities, there is a youth group, a reception group, child caseworkers for LSS 0-20 years, and adult caseworkers for parents seeking their own support regarding LSS, social psychiatry, and substance abuse.
As a social worker in the reception group, you will receive reports and applications regarding children and youth aged 0-20 years and be responsible for preliminary assessments in these cases. A preliminary assessment includes conversations with children/youth, guardians, and reporters. If we initiate an investigation, the case will be forwarded to the investigation groups for children or youth. The reception is also responsible for certain statements according to LUL and for receiving LSS applications, informing, and then forwarding to the investigation group. We have a goal-oriented working method, and through your work, you will contribute to achieving the organization's goals effectively.
Your work includes collaborating with other professionals both within the unit, within the administration, and externally, for the benefit of children and families. You will have close cooperation with other caseworkers and managers in the unit, municipal and private providers, and other stakeholders within the operational area.
Your qualifications and experience

As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, attentive, and collaborative with the ability to remain calm in demanding situations.
