The Investigation Unit for Adult and Elderly Care is responsible for the authority's exercise of power in adult cases within the framework of the Social Services Act.

The handling concerns services in ordinary housing as well as in special accommodations. We are now seeking reinforcement in the form of a permanent position and a temporary position until 2025-08-31 with a good chance of extension.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee in the unit, you will be part of a group of 20 competent caseworkers where your task is to investigate, decide, and follow up on services for individuals in need of care. The most common support services are home care, family support services, and special accommodations.

The unit is divided into teams where you will have close collegial contact and support, and as a new employee, you will always receive extra support from a designated mentor. You will also be offered individual supervision and group supervision from the unit's case supervisors.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified social worker or has an educational background in social work combined with documented experience of authority exercise that the employer deems sufficient to handle adult cases.

It is advantageous if you have experience in authority exercise, work according to BBIC or IBIC, and experience working in Procapita or Life Care.

In addition to formal qualifications, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
