ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Skara. We offer a position as a substitute, where you step in as needed when the regular staff is absent, which means you need to be flexible and able to work at short notice. This is a perfect part-time job for you who are studying or have another job on the side!

During both weekdays and weekends, the working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 08:00 AM – 08:00 PM
• 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM (awake night)

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a young man in his 20s living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, autism, and developmental delay. He uses various aids to facilitate his daily life, including a breathing mask, shower chair, electric wheelchair, and cough machine. There is also a ceiling lift in the home to assist with transfers. As a personal assistant, your tasks will include:

• Support in daily routines, such as household chores
• Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
• Assisting with activities and hobbies

The client lives in his own apartment close to his relatives, and there is an allergy-friendly dog nearby. In his free time, he enjoys playing computer games and watching series. He also has his own car and sometimes wishes to go out for various activities.

We are looking for someone who can create a safe and positive environment for our client and who actively supports him in his daily routines and interests. You are responsible and proactive, and we would like you to have a commitment to finding activities that can brighten the client's days. Your role will be important in creating a meaningful and active life for the client. Your personality and suitability for the role will be crucial during the recruitment process.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license and access to a car to get to the workplace
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Scope: Substitute Start date: Immediately Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
