We are looking for an assistant project manager for an infrastructure project for a vital community actor in Stockholm.

A comprehensive infrastructure project needs to strengthen its project organization with an assistant project manager. The role involves working closely with the responsible project manager for construction and installations, providing support in both operational and strategic tasks.

Scope of the assignment – examples of responsibilities:

• Supports and relieves the project manager in leading, directing, and monitoring the project's implementation.
• Responsible for monitoring the schedule, costs, content, and risks, within the framework of delegated tasks.
• Participates in the approval of project-related technical reports (ATR) and in the financial follow-up of both contractors and design consultants.
• Contributes to installation coordination and coordination between technical areas.
• Drives and implements activities and measures that arise continuously, outside the formal project plan.
• Participates in resource allocation and staffing.
• Acts as support to the project manager in the absence of the project leader.

Other conditions for the assignment

• Travel in the service may occur as needed.
• On-call duty may be part of the assignment.
• Overtime work, both in the form of simple and qualified overtime, may occur during the course of the assignment.

Mandatory requirements

• At least five years of experience working as a contractor for a public transport authority.
• A total of at least eight years of experience in roles as installation coordinator and/or project manager, of which at least two years in larger construction projects with a project budget exceeding 500 million SEK.
• At least five years of experience as an installation coordinator in a total contract.
• At least two years of documented experience as a project manager or installation coordinator in projects involving rock tunnels.

Desirable qualifications

• At least two years of documented experience working in projects focused on tunnel or rail-bound infrastructure.
• Valid training in BAS-U/BAS-P, in accordance with applicable occupational health and safety legislation.

• Experience working in a client organization.
