About the role of Project Manager Local Network

Sweden, and especially Stockholm, is facing a significant energy transition. Within the Project Local Network department, we work on the structural changes planned for Ellevio's local networks in Sweden, aimed at increasing the renewal of our electrical installations, enhancing capacity, and reliability.

As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to influence and drive the projects and development of the electrical grid. You are responsible for ensuring that we meet safety, time, budget, and quality requirements during execution. You will follow and be responsible for the entire execution of the project from start to finish, including customer connections, developments, and reinvestments. The role involves a broad network of contacts, and you will work both internally with colleagues and departments within Ellevio and externally with customers, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.

The team you will be part of consists of about 15 engaged, happy, and knowledgeable Project Managers and Construction Managers who drive local network projects in Söderort, Stockholm. The Construction Managers assist the projects with technical expertise and field follow-up. In the group, there is a mix of permanent employees and consultants, and we now want to strengthen our internal competence. You will alternate between office work and site visits in the field.

Who are you?

For the role of Project Manager, we are looking for someone who enjoys finding smart, efficient solutions that drive projects forward. You are responsible for the entire project, from start to finish, and therefore we seek someone who is comfortable taking overall responsibility and leading the process all the way. You are meticulous and structured, allowing you to plan and organize work to maintain a good balance between time, quality, and cost. In this role, it is important to build and nurture relationships with various stakeholders, both internally and externally. A key part is your communication skills, which enable you to engage and keep everyone informed throughout the project, creating an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field for the position, or equivalent work experience
• Several years of experience in a project management role within, for example, electrical power, construction, or civil engineering
• Experience with contractual matters and procurement of contracts
• Knowledge of construction law and AMA/EBR
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B required
