About the assignment

The Construction Manager will work on the Gerstaberg project within the Ostlänken program. The project is located just south of Södertälje and serves as the Ostlänken's connection point to the Västra stambanan. Within the project, a grade-separated connection in the form of a fly-over bridge will be constructed.

The Gerstaberg project includes several ongoing contracts, with the fly-over bridge being part of the project's largest contract valued at approximately 1.8 billion SEK.

About the role

In the role of Construction Manager Measurement, you will be responsible for monitoring the contractor's work and ensuring that the project is carried out in accordance with agreements, requirements, and regulations.

The assignment includes, among other things:

• Monitoring the contractor's work regarding time, cost, quality, and content
• Ensuring that technical requirements, regulations, and designed solutions are met
• Participating in planning, coordination, and follow-up of production
• Managing deviations, changes, and additional work as well as quantity deviations
• Reviewing and following up on documentation for compensation and quantity lists
• Participating in construction and economic meetings and reporting status and finances
• Ensuring that necessary documentation is produced for the management phase

The work takes place partially in or adjacent to operational railway facilities, which means that work at night and on weekends may occur. Ordered work outside normal working hours is assessed not to exceed approximately 30% of the assignment's scope.

Mandatory requirements

All requirements must be clearly stated in the CV, including periods, assignments, scope, and responsibilities.

1. University or college education of at least 180 credits (120 points) with a technical focus or have another education and experience that Trafikverket deems equivalent.
2. Documented experience of at least 2 years of full-time work, in the last 5 years, as client support measurement in railway projects. With responsibility for independently managing the client organization's work with MSS.
3. Documented experience with AMA Construction, MER Construction, and contract law AB04 and ABT06.
4. Measurement technical authorization Trafikverket Class 1.
5. Documented experience with 3D CAD/BIM.
6. Documented knowledge of SBG GEO and Topocad.
7. Completed training to act as the Client's construction work environment coordinator (BAS-P and BAS-U), or the possibility to complete the training no later than six months after the start of the assignment.
8. Completed BASÄSKYDD training with valid authorization, or the possibility to complete the training and obtain valid authorization no later than six months after the start of the assignment.
9. Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
10. Valid driver's license B.

Assignment information

The assignment is scheduled to start on 2026-03-01 and end on 2028-02-28.

Option: The client has the unilateral opportunity to extend the contract with existing contractual terms for an additional 1 year + 1 year.

Scope: Estimated workload for the assignment is 80-100% of annual working time, amounting to 1,700 hours.

The stationing location for the resource consultant is the program's project office in Södertälje and at the contractor's site.
