to apply for the job
We are now looking for a licensed veterinarian to the mountain veterinarian's modern small animal clinic in Strömsund – in the heart of Jämtland's beautiful mountain world.
You have a few years of experience in the profession and feel confident with anesthesia and postoperative care. You have some experience in day surgery, are comfortable with simpler procedures, and are eager to further develop your knowledge. Here, you will work in a family-like environment with a strong team spirit and high medical standards – with both companion animals and working hunting dogs. An interest in dental care is an extra merit.
We believe that you:
- Enjoy working both independently and in close collaboration with our nurses
- Have experience in anesthesia and want to continue developing in the field
- Are unpretentious, helpful, and engaged in both the well-being of animals and colleagues
- Appreciate variety in your daily work and see the value in every meeting – big or small
Even if you do not meet all the points, we encourage you to reach out anyway. For us, the right attitude, curiosity, and willingness to contribute to a good work environment weigh just as heavily as the number of years in the industry.
The position is scheduled for weekdays during the day, which provides a good balance between work and leisure, and we are open to adjusting the working hours according to your life situation.
