Svegs Health Center is an important part of healthcare in the region's rural areas. During the winter season, the need for acute interventions increases as tourism grows. With 18 miles to the nearest hospital, the health center plays a crucial role – providing both emergency care and other health services to meet the needs of residents and visitors. We are looking for licensed nurses who wish to work with emergency care & rural medicine as two of our staff members are going on parental leave.

The unit is characterized by a deep commitment and responsibility for the operations conducted in Härjedalen. The foundation of the work is outpatient care with a broad primary care commitment. This includes general practitioner clinics, district nurse clinics, minor emergency clinics, psychosocial services, physiotherapy, radiology, laboratory, midwifery clinics, maternal health care, and child health care. Svegs Health Center also operates a Primary Care Department (NÄVA) with 2 observation beds for inpatient care around the clock. This is staffed by the municipality's nurses. The operation also includes branches in the tourist areas of Lofsdalen and Vemdalsskalet. Together, we inspire and uplift each other in development and change efforts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse/district nurse at Svegs HC, the tasks vary between planned consultations, telephone advice, and work at the minor emergency clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or a nurse with a specialist degree as a district nurse. Experience from the profession is required, and experience from primary care is also desirable and meritorious. We are looking for someone who seeks development, who wants to contribute to continuous improvements at our health center and who is willing to share their thoughts and ideas.
