to apply for the job
Do you want a position with great opportunities for professional development?
We offer 25 days per year for courses, conferences, and observation based on a personal plan that you help influence. We can provide this opportunity based on our ambitions to deliver healthcare of the highest quality even in rural areas.
About Hammarstrand Health Center
Hammarstrand Health Center is a well-functioning health center with a stable permanent staff. We work with a strong team spirit. Our team includes medical secretaries, doctors, district nurses, nursing assistants, midwives, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and physiotherapists.
We have close collaboration with ambulance personnel as we have an ambulance stationed in the building; if it is really urgent, transport is done by helicopter to Östersund Hospital. What sets Hammarstrand Health Center apart from urban health centers is that we handle everything; individuals who would normally have sought emergency care if they lived in a city come to us. This makes the work very varied, with a good mix of traditional health center work and more urgent cases.
We also staff a branch in Bispgården a few days each week. Additionally, we have a close collaboration with Stugun Health Center, which has permanent staff including two doctors, two district nurses, and one nursing assistant. Other competencies are borrowed from Hammarstrand Health Center.
The staff at Hammarstrand Health Center are active in the transition to close care, and for at least three more years, there are good financial opportunities to try new working methods and continue adapting to future demands and challenges. We have a good collaboration with the municipality, making work easy and enjoyable.
