Dental Manager (OLA) for Public Dental Health in Region Jämtland Härjedalen

We need you to work as a dental manager (OLA) for the operations within public dental health in Region Jämtland Härjedalen. The public dental health in the region has fifteen general dental clinics, of which four clinics are located in the Östersund area and the remaining in other parts of the region. In Östersund, there is also specialist dental care, which is also part of the public dental health operations. In the autumn of 2018, we launched our new emergency clinic, the dental emergency in Östersund.

This position offers a permanent employment at 100% as a dentist, with a role as a dental manager at 30% for 3 years, and 70% work as a dentist in clinics within the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be the employer representative and responsible for the area and together with the Dental Manager/Operations Managers, for example:

• coordinate and prioritize resources according to the needs of the operations.
• Be part of the management team of Public Dental Health
• Participate in the area's operational planning and financial statements.
• Drive cross-border quality development in orthodontic issues, including contributing to solutions for shorter lead and waiting times and participate in the work with knowledge management
• Participate in investigations where dental expertise is necessary
• Chair our Dental Management Team
• Together with OLU ensure that there are good overall routines for the dental care of patients, including record keeping, handling of medications, and medical equipment
• Be a support to the Dental Manager in the care provider role.
• Support the operations managers in the work with risk analyses, deviations, LÖF cases, and care damage investigations including Lex Maria cases, follow-up and evaluation of measures taken, when OLU is not more suitable.
• Coordinate OLU within the area, which includes ensuring that necessary information between OLU is communicated.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed Dentist with at least five years of experience
Strong interest in development and good collaboration skills
Easy to communicate in speech and writing

Experience in an employer role is an advantage.
