Central Operations at Östersund Hospital
Central Operations at Östersund Hospital provides surgical care in 10 operating rooms for both emergency and planned procedures. The surgical department cares for both inpatients and day surgery patients. As an anesthetic nurse, you will work in the operating room, anesthetic service, and may be on call for cardiac arrest and trauma.
Work in the operating room is done in teams with specialist nurses in anesthesia and surgery, nursing assistants, anesthesiologists, and surgeons. We perform about 8,000 surgeries per year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations are conducted around the clock. We collaborate with all surgical departments at Östersund Hospital in surgery, urology, orthopedics, gynecology, and ear-nose-throat.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed nurse with further education in anesthetic nursing. We welcome applicants with experience in the field, but also newly graduated nurses are encouraged to apply. Surgical operations have varying workloads throughout the day, and you need to be able to ramp up during higher loads to deliver quality service to our partners and patients.
You have good collaboration skills, enjoy working in teams, and actively contribute your knowledge and to a good work climate. Personal suitability will be given great importance.
