We are strengthening our team with an additional Vendor Manager who will work on monitoring our ICT suppliers, focusing on ensuring compliance with laws and regulations from an information and cybersecurity perspective. We are looking for someone with a passion for the field, driven by improvement and efficiency, as well as building relationships and creating good collaborations. Join our team! ABOUT THE ROLE As a Vendor Manager at Norion Bank, you are a central link between the bank's stakeholders and our ICT suppliers. In your role, you will review our suppliers and ensure they meet legal and regulatory requirements. The role involves close collaboration with both internal colleagues and departments as well as external partners and suppliers.

Examples of tasks:

  • Participate in the entire supplier lifecycle - from procurement and implementation to ongoing monitoring and potential termination,
  • Further develop, streamline, and implement processes for effective supplier management together with the Vendor Manager function,
  • Establish a structured management model for governance, control, and monitoring of suppliers' compliance,
  • Interpret and translate current and upcoming regulations into relevant requirements,
  • Identify and manage as well as follow up on risks related to supplier relationships,
  • Coach employees on regulations and requirements relevant to supplier relationships.

The Vendor Manager belongs to the bank's Cybersecurity team and reports to the Head of Cybersecurity.

The position is a permanent employment starting as agreed. We offer a hybrid work model, where you will alternate between remote work and working at our central headquarters at Lilla Bommen in Gothenburg. Here, teams work closely together, promoting effective communication and collaboration. ABOUT YOU We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in procurement or IT auditing, and who is well-versed in interpreting regulations and translating them into practical requirements, preferably in collaboration with suppliers.

We believe you have:

  • Experience in supplier management, auditing, or risk assessment within IT,
  • The ability to understand and interpret legal and regulatory requirements, e.g., DORA.
  • Fluent Swedish and English in both spoken and written form – as the corporate language is Swedish, but many suppliers are international,
  • Experience from the financial industry or another regulated industry is a plus,
  • A background in information or cybersecurity is an advantage.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you:

  • Are self-driven, analytical, and structured,
  • Have a strong interest in developing and streamlining processes – preferably through automation and AI,
  • Find it easy to build relationships and communicate clearly with both internal and external parties,
  • Enjoy a role where you can combine analysis and operational work with pedagogical support to the organization,
  • Are comfortable interacting with senior counterparts at the supplier.
