About the role

As a tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring performance, safety, and functionality in modern heavy vehicles. You will work with both software and hardware and use professional tools for diagnostics, data collection, and system optimization.

Examples of tasks

• Read and erase fault codes from the truck's control units (ECU) using tools such as Autocom, Launch X-431 HD, iCarsoft HD.
• Perform active tests and adaptations, e.g., learning new components.
• Analyze real-time data with systems like Dewesoft for vehicle dynamics and electrical systems.

Work with function-specific software such as:

• EasyCargo for load planning and 3D visualization.
• Volvo Trucks software optimizations for fuel efficiency and battery management.
• Manage CAN bus and protocols such as J1939, J1708, CAN FD.

We believe you have

• Experience in vehicle diagnostics or testing of software/hardware.
• Basic understanding of CAN bus and vehicle protocols.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and methods.
• The ability to analyze data and draw conclusions for improvements.
