We are looking for an experienced Linux Technician who wants to take the next step in their career by working as a consultant for one of our clients in [industry, e.g., finance, public sector, telecom]. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a technically advanced environment where operations, security, and automation are the focus.

Your main responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and operation of Linux servers (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)

• Troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident management in production environments

• Automation of operations and deployment using Ansible, Puppet, Bash, or Python

• Management of container and virtualization environments (Docker, Kubernetes, KVM, VMware)

• Participation in architecture and improvement projects for clients

• Documentation and handover according to established processes

Your background As a person, you are self-driven, solution-oriented, and confident in your technical skills. You have analytical abilities and enjoy working in complex environments where quality and security are central.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 5 years of experience in Linux administration in larger environments

• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system monitoring

• Experience with virtualization (e.g., KVM, VMware) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or OpenStack)

• Ability to work structured both independently and in teams

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

In addition to your core competencies in Linux, we would like you to have experience with modern tools and methods that enhance your role as a consultant.

It is a plus if you have:

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and Jenkins

• Experience with scripting in Python, Bash, or similar

• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Experience with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD

• Experience working with DevSecOps or SRE

• Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or LPIC
