The interest in Norra Skog's forest owner plans is significant as they serve as a good support for forest owners and constitute a foundational document for, among other things, PEFC certification. Forest owners within Norra Skog's operational area request forest owner plans covering approximately 100,000 hectares each year. We are now looking for a planner for the West field area, based at one of our offices within this operational area.

Your new job

We offer you a field-based position combined with office days. During the ground season, a large part of your working time will be spent in the field, while in winter you will mostly work on updating existing plans and preparing for the upcoming field season. In addition to planning and updating plans, you will play an important role in assisting Norra Skog's forest inspectors, forest economists, and brokers with various plan-related tasks. You will also contribute to the development of methodologies and working methods to create the forest owner plans of the future.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in forests and land

As a planner, you will have a flexible job where you plan your own days, so it is important that you are structured and have good initiative and decision-making skills. Even though your work is performed independently, you will be part of a team with competent and engaged colleagues where everyone contributes with their expertise. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is communicative and has a desire to work towards common goals. To thrive as a planner, you should enjoy working outdoors since a large part of your working time will be spent in forests and land. Furthermore, we seek someone with a forestry education and relevant experience for the planner role. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with planning.

• Possession of a driver's license is a prerequisite for the role.
• The position is a temporary contract from May 1 to October 31, based in Storuman or Lycksele.
