Job Description

You will work at Norra skogs sawmill in Kåge, which will also be the location for the position. The current working hours are Monday to Friday, 05:55-15:00, with a workload of 40 hours per week. The schedule may change as it reflects the needs of the business. Your tasks include measuring saw logs and performing other related tasks such as service assignments and some administration. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measuring station and have ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. The work is to be carried out according to our values, that is, in a reliable, impartial, and engaged manner. Of course, we do it together!

Who are you?

We see you as a person who is meticulous, likes order and tidiness, and enjoys working with numbers. You are service-oriented, both towards customers and colleagues, have a knack for collaboration, and are a good team player. You are engaged, professional, trustworthy, and have an eye for improvement to make your job better in everyday life. Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working practically and in digital systems, and be able to communicate effectively in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A requirement for the position is that you have a B driver's license.

Desirable/Preferred

Forestry knowledge and experience in timber measurement are considered advantageous, as well as being able to communicate in English, but it is not a requirement.
