As a sous chef, you are a key person in the kitchen, where you together with the head chef are responsible for the daily operations, quality, and the creative expression on the plate. With us, we cook with care, focus on local ingredients, and genuine joy of cooking – all served with a view of the mountain peaks.

THE ROLE As a sous chef, you lead and work with everything from purchasing to serving food, together with your team. You are responsible for delivering a great meal. We are convinced that you are flexible, stress-resistant, and have a professional and personal attitude towards colleagues and guests. Being organized and structured in your work is a given for us. THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE GOOD AT You are creative You are organized You enjoy developing our food experiences You are a team player who brings your colleagues along You have a good structure Menu planning Purchasing and inventory You understand the importance of quality on the plate, as well as in the background with self-checks
WHAT YOU GET - Salary by agreement - We apply collective agreements via HRF - Liability insurance and occupational pension via Fora - 100% seasonal employment, starting mid-December. WHAT WE GET We are looking for someone with a few years of work experience from a fast-paced operation and a genuine interest in cooking. You are a good team player who sees the opportunities ahead to develop food and offerings.
You have one or more years of experience from a similar role previously. As a person, you are attentive, creative, and keen to be part of a sustainable and pleasant workplace. We place great emphasis on personality and the ability to see solutions. - Accommodation is available. - A car and driver's license are advantageous, but not a requirement. ABOUT US Trillevallen is a family and generational paradise, where many return year after year. Ripan is located in the slope with space for 125 people, featuring a cozy lounging area, a warming fire, and a sun terrace with views over the mountain ranges to the south. Here we serve the day's skier lunch, pizza, and coffee and are open as long as the lifts are open from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Saturdays until 5:00 PM). On Fridays, we set up for pizza nights.
