We are now looking for an outgoing person with several years of experience in pubs & restaurants who is ready to take a new step and become part of the team at The Bishops Arms Östersund.

As the Deputy Pub & Restaurant Manager, you will be the right hand of the Pub Manager and one of the cornerstones of the pub. In addition to creating the atmosphere and putting your stamp on the team & pub, you will also be a shift leader and problem solver for various tasks that may arise. 

You will also step in as the pub manager during periods when the regular pub manager is on vacation or business trips. During these periods, in addition to your usual duties, you will have personnel responsibility, which includes staffing the pub, solving problems constructively, and taking the operational and ultimate responsibility for ensuring that both guests and staff are satisfied. 

You should enjoy service and be able to engage the staff to develop our concept and contribute to strengthening our brand in the market.

The work is fundamentally operations-based as you are one of the faces of the pub and represent the quality of the product, but there are also some administrative tasks such as weekly orders, cleaning our beer system (we will teach you), and updating our social media and the Untappd app.

To succeed in this role, good knowledge of beer, food, and drinks in general, as well as a great passion for service and the ability to lead staff transparently, is required.

Scope according to agreement (between 70-90%), shift work, days, evenings, and weekends.
