We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated head chef who wants to help drive and develop our kitchen at Björns Kök in Vemdalen.

With us, you will have a central role in the business where you lead the kitchen team, are responsible for daily operations, and help develop both menus and organization.

We are a growing company with several operations and good opportunities to develop together with us.

About the position

As head chef, you are responsible for the daily operations in the kitchen and lead the work together with the kitchen team and F&B. You work operationally in the kitchen to be the reliable point and ensure the quality of what goes out.

The position is full-time 100% with a start date according to agreement.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen
• 
  
• Lead and develop the kitchen team
• 
  
• Assist with personnel planning and scheduling
• 
  
• Ensure quality, structure, and routines in the kitchen
• 
  
• Assist with purchasing, raw material costs, and financial follow-up
• 
  
• Be involved in menu development and concepts

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a head chef or sous chef with leadership responsibility and wants to step up to head chef
• 
  
• Has good leadership skills and can motivate your team
• 
  
• Has good financial understanding of raw material costs and personnel
• 
  
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and confident in your role
• 
  
• Thrives in an environment where the pace varies between seasons
