The municipal management administration is tasked with assisting the municipal council in its functions. This includes monitoring societal development and taking necessary initiatives as well as overseeing the committees and the municipal-owned companies.

One of our payroll administrators will be going on parental leave, and we are now looking for a new colleague to join our team. As a payroll administrator, you will belong to the payroll unit of the HR department, which is part of the municipal management administration. Your closest colleagues are payroll administrators, payroll handlers, system administrators, archive assistants, and a manager. You will be well taken care of by experienced and positive colleagues who focus on continuous improvements, smarter working methods, and digitalization. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer you an independent and varied job with stimulating tasks. As a payroll administrator, you will register, review, and control employment data and payroll discrepancies. You will manage permissions and postings in the municipality's payroll system. The role includes reporting information to authorities, such as inquiries from the Social Insurance Agency. Based on your competence, experience, and engagement, you will have the opportunity to participate in and drive your own development activities in the area. Furthermore, the work as a payroll administrator also involves communicating internally and externally via phone, email, and personal meetings. With us, you will have the opportunity to plan and manage your own working hours together with your new colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least 1.5 years of YH education in payroll management or equivalent education. We consider it an advantage if you have previously worked with administration or processing of payrolls. You are an experienced user of the Office suite and have basic knowledge of Excel. We require that you have a good command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as part of the job involves communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in the role of payroll administrator, you need to have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with other people. You communicate clearly and are involved in spreading your knowledge further. You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively to meet set deadlines.
