Your everyday life – contribute to Sweden's defense capability

The NATO unit is responsible for coordinating the agency's activities within the Nato Security Investment Programme (NSIP), Defence Cooperation Agreement (DCA), and host nation support issues (VLS). The unit is therefore the point of contact with the Swedish Armed Forces and NATO, responsible for monitoring and distributing intended incoming cases and tasks to producing departments within Fortificationsverket.

The NATO unit is relatively newly established and is therefore under development and growth as NATO's and allies' investments in Sweden increase. The work is carried out in collaboration with the Swedish Armed Forces, other defense authorities, NATO headquarters in Brussels, and close allied countries. NSIP is a program within NATO used to finance and develop military capabilities, such as infrastructure needed for the alliance's common needs. NSIP is an important part of NATO's collective defense capability. NATO therefore requires monitoring and control at all stages of the process, i.e. feasibility studies, procurement, maintenance, and decommissioning.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university or college education or a high school education with complementary suitable further education in economics, property management, or construction. You have several years of experience in work related to budgeting, investigations, and reporting, mainly related to projects in construction and management. You have very good administrative skills and several years of experience working in IT system support. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in writing and speech (including financial terms). A class B driver's license is a requirement, as is Swedish citizenship.
