We are now looking for a senior case officer and team leader in school choice and school obligation for our client in Nacka.
Do you want to work in a role where you combine leadership with qualified casework and make a difference for children's education? We are looking for a structured and confident consultant who leads a small team and works operationally with issues related to school choice, school obligation, and student travel – in close collaboration with schools, authorities, and guardians.
About the assignment
In this role, you will lead a team of four employees and work operationally as a senior case officer. The focus is on ensuring a legally secure and efficient school choice for preschool and primary school, as well as following up on school obligation and the municipality's agreements for scheduled travel. You will collaborate with both independent and municipal school authorities and have many contacts with principals and guardians.
Requirements
Mandatory requirements:
Several years of experience in qualified work within the education sector
Very good digital skills and familiarity with digital tools
Good communication skills in both spoken and written form
Ability to make well-founded assessments according to applicable regulations
Desirable:
University education in a relevant field
Experience in school choice and school obligation within central administration
Experience as a principal, vice-principal, or other team-leading role in primary school
Familiarity with the systems Mitt Skolval and IST Administration
Personal qualities:
Unpretentious and solution-oriented
Confident in the role of a leader
Good planning and collaboration skills
Easy to build trust in contact with guardians and school staff

Location: Nacka City Hall + remote (hybrid setup) Scope: 100% (possibility for part-time, e.g., 80%) Start: By agreement (earliest August 2025) End date: According to contract duration (specified in the agreement) Language: Swedish spoken and written is required Reporting: To the unit manager and deputy unit manager Other: Handling of personal data is done according to the municipality's routines
