Syvab AB owns and operates Himmerfjärdsverket, one of Sweden's largest wastewater treatment plants, beautifully located by the Baltic Sea in southern Botkyrka. The company was founded in 1966 and is a stable, sustainability-focused player in water treatment with approximately 70 employees. Today, the plant receives wastewater from about 350,000 people in southwestern Greater Stockholm.

Syvab is currently undergoing an exciting development phase where the treatment plant is being renovated and modernized with new technology such as membrane filters and cascade nitrogen removal, a comprehensive project scheduled to be fully completed by 2027. In line with the increased need for structure and traceability in document management, Syvab is now looking for a document controller who wants to help shape the future of water treatment.

As a document controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that documents and information are managed correctly throughout their lifecycle, from creation to archiving. You will work strategically and operationally with document management, improvement work, and information security in close collaboration with project managers, technical specialists, and other functions. The role also involves responsibility for managing and developing the document management system, Alfresco, as well as preparing the organization for the Nis2 directive.

As a Document Controller, you will:

  • Ensure correct document management and traceability.
  • Manage and develop document and case management systems.
  • Implement routines related to information security.
  • Lead development projects related to document management.
  • Follow up on compliance with laws, guidelines, and routines.
  • Communicate with authorities and internal functions.

Desired Profile:

  • Post-secondary education in administration, information management, technology, or archives.
  • Experience in document management/document control, preferably from a technical or public environment.
  • Good knowledge of document management systems.
  • Swedish spoken and written, as well as understanding of English.
  • Structured and meticulous with experience working according to routines.
  • Driver's license (B).

    Start: Immediately

    Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM with flexible hours

    Location: The workplace is located in Skansundet, close to both the city and nature

    Employment type: Full-time, permanent position (6 months probationary period)
