Working as a medical secretary at WeMind BUP

At WeMind, medical secretaries play a key role. For many patients, the administrative staff is the first contact with the clinic, and the reception they receive is crucial for the patient to feel seen and welcome.

Main responsibilities:

• Medical record writing with associated care contact registration
• Referral management
• Cash and reception work
• Answering phone calls via voicemail-based systems and 1177
• Statements and certificates
• Quality work

Your new workplace

The clinic in Växjö is part of the care choice for child and adolescent psychiatry, opening in March 2024. It is an outpatient clinic that receives individuals aged 6–17 for psychiatric assessment, investigation, and treatment.

At the clinic, specialist doctors in psychiatry, psychologists, nurses, and medical secretaries work together. We are a team that has a well-functioning collaboration and a lot of laughter.

In the fall of 2025, we will have access to new, larger premises and the opportunity to expand our team. Together with the current team, we create security and working methods that develop the clinic every day.

About you

• Completed education as a Medical Secretary or Health and Medical Care Administrator (KY)
• Experience working as a medical secretary in psychiatry is an advantage
• Knowledge of the medical record system Cosmic is a plus

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a good approach. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy being part of a team. Furthermore, you will be part of the development of the clinic, which requires initiative and flexibility but also offers you great opportunities for growth.
