The Swedish Tourist Association operates eight mountain stations.
STF Abisko Tourist Station is located in Abisko National Park, 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle and is the northernmost mountain station of the Swedish Tourist Association. We have been conducting visitor activities here since 1903. Our visitors come from all over the world, year-round, to experience the mountain world around Torneträsk, hike or ski along the Kungsleden, and to witness the legendary Northern Lights!
We are now looking for an engaged and interested person who wants to work with tasks as a baker at STF Abisko Tourist Station.
Working at a mountain station is never the same day twice. With tasks as a baker, you will be an important part of ensuring that every guest has a memorable overall experience at the mountain station. Here, you will take on significant responsibility to enhance the guest's experience. In the bakery, you will be responsible for ensuring that all bread maintains a high and consistent quality. Your ambition should be to deliver that "little extra" and preferably exceed the guest's expectations. You are part of the kitchen team where everyone shares a common responsibility for making the entire meal and visit to the restaurant an experience.
Life at a mountain station is varied, exciting, and educational, just like a day in the mountains can be. As part of the mountain station, you will work in a close-knit team that only sees opportunities. In the group, we support each other and help in other areas of the mountain station if needed. Our core values thoughtful, curious, genuine, professional, and committed permeate our entire organization and way of working.
