Production Leader for Kitchen and Cleaning Operations at Grans Nature High School

Grans Nature High School is a school with a long history, beautifully located in Öjebyn just outside Piteå. The school offers four specializations within the upper secondary nature management program – Animal Care, Agriculture, Horse Management, and Nature Tourism. The school's students come from various parts of the county, and the school has a boarding facility with over 80 accommodation places where students can live during their studies. The school is a results unit and has a principal responsible for education and boarding, and an operations manager responsible for animal stables, property, kitchen, and cleaning, as well as a business manager who is overall responsible for all operations at Grans. Grans' restaurant operations serve breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, dinner, and evening snacks, preparing their meals from scratch. The cleaning department has several buildings and facilities spread over a relatively large area within its responsibility.

The Education Administration is now seeking a production leader for kitchen and cleaning at Grans Nature High School with operational responsibility for the daily operations in the kitchen and cleaning.

Job Responsibilities

As a production leader, you will report to the operations manager with operational responsibility for the kitchen and cleaning operations at Grans. Your role includes participating in and organizing the daily operations within kitchen and cleaning in dialogue with the operations manager and staff. The operations manager has ultimate personnel responsibility while you will be responsible for staffing and distribution of personnel. You will hold operational meetings and lead the daily work with continuous updates and reporting to the operations manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in coordinating and managing daily operational activities within kitchen and/or cleaning. We prefer you to have a relevant educational background at least at the high school level but are also interested in candidates with experience in similar roles or a professional background deemed suitable by the employer. You need to demonstrate competence regarding food hygiene and/or cleaning.

Additionally, the role requires good leadership qualities that can engage and utilize employees' skills and ideas.
