About the role as a Residential Support Worker

As a residential support worker, you will work to provide a meaningful and predictable everyday life with a lot of structure for those living with us. We work purposefully based on the assignment plan, maintaining a professional and salutogenic approach while also working within the organization's resources and budget.

Our work is tailored to each individual's conditions and needs, with the starting point being the individual's personal implementation plan. Our goal is for the users to become as independent as possible, and we support them in utilizing their own resources to develop and achieve a good quality of life. Our approach involves a low-arousal response and clarifying pedagogy.

We are now looking for staff who can work night shifts to provide the support our individuals need. We prefer that you have experience working nights in similar settings.

Qualifications

  • Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
  • Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS.
  • High school education such as child and youth programs, health and care programs, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.

It is an advantage if you also have

  • Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.

Employment conditions

Employment typeWorking hours: Rolling schedule, day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call shifts may occur. Start date: By agreement, we view positively if you can start shortly. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
