Are you an experienced developer looking to work with business-critical systems in a large-scale IT environment? We are now seeking a big data developer who wants to work with robust back-end development in a Mainframe environment alongside an engaged and cross-functional team.

Working as a big data developer The role consists of developing solutions in Mainframe z/OS together with your team. You will work in a team with product owners, scrum masters, system developers, and testers. Together, your goal is to create robust and agile solutions for our client's users - merchants, customer service, and end consumers.

Your main task will be to develop/future-proof our client's back-end solution together with the product owner and the rest of the team. Here, you will have a significant say in a team responsible for the overall design, analysis, development, monitoring, and testing.

Main responsibilities:

• Further develop and maintain our client's digital products within back-end solutions
• Get involved in new and exciting initiatives
• Implement new functionality and solve technical problems in systems and services
• The focus is on back-end where robust, user-friendly solutions for merchants and end customers are created
• Programming languages include Cobol (CICS/OPC/Rest services) via IBM's TSO and DB2 SQL.

The role is based in Borås, with the possibility of remote work up to 3 days a week. Some travel may occur, primarily to our client's other offices in Sweden, including Solna.

We are looking for someone who:

Enjoys working in self-organized teams and collaborating with others in an agile environment. You are proactive and enjoy finding creative solutions.

• Has a bachelor's degree in computer science or similar. Alternatively, relevant work experience.
• Has at least 5 years of experience in Mainframe on IBM z/OS environment, including COBOL programming (via TSO), DB2/SQL, CICS, OPC, and REST.
• Has experience in an environment with multiple instances configured for high performance and high availability to support the business's time-critical processes, need for constant availability, and large volumes.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
