Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• Wants to work with a woman in her 30s living in Landskrona
• Enjoys being active
• Has good physical condition and is at least 175 cm tall as there are transfers that do not work otherwise
• Is not allergic to pets as a dog may occasionally be present at the workplace

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Have experience with a ventilator and BiPap
• Share the client's interests in an active life with travel, concerts, and photography

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is a temporary position at 70% for approximately 1 year. The position involves work during daytime, evening, and weekends but should preferably be able to work nights if needed due to illness in the team. Assistance is provided around the clock, and all time is active, even at night. Some double staffing is available for activities such as swimming.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Start date

Start in February 2025, but training can begin immediately by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
