About the positionWe are now looking for a component engineer for our client in the defense industry. The company has the mission to protect people and communities, thereby contributing to societal security. The company strives to be a workplace focused on innovation, collaboration, and diversity. In the role of Component Engineer, you will prepare standard components, which involves ensuring accuracy and updates in the company's business system. The work also involves finding standard components in the market based on developed specifications and ensuring that correct information about the components is integrated into the article databases. In addition to technical properties, environmental properties must also be ensured.

The Component Engineer has many internal contact points, which requires good communication skills. You will belong to a department with 13 colleagues, where you are divided into different component disciplines such as mechanics, electronics, electromechanics, and chemicals.

Travel in the position in the form of supplier visits about twice a month. Most travels occur in Sweden, but Europe is also included.Your profileWe are looking for someone who fits the following criteria:• You are a university or master’s engineer in industrial economics, mechanics, or electronics• Fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English. Furthermore, you are responsible and have a strong ability to collaborate. You are communicative and clear in your way of expressing yourself. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations, and the position requires Swedish citizenship.
