Your new role
We are looking for a proactive and structured Work Environment Coordinator for our client – a global leader in the automotive industry with operations in Lundby, Gothenburg. If you enjoy building relationships, creating trust, and driving work environment issues in a dynamic setting, you will fit perfectly in this role.
In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure work environment for both employees and contractors at the facility, in accordance with the Work Environment Act. As Group Trucks Technology is the largest operation in the Lundby area, they have a coordination responsibility to identify and manage work environment risks in close collaboration with other functions.
Your mission will be to:
- Define the format, structure, and governance for work environment efforts in the area
- Develop safe work routines, establish roles and responsibilities, and safety standards
- Coordinate work related to property maintenance, technical systems, and service providers
- Create and follow up on safety requirements, risk assessments, permit management, and identification of hazardous work
- Establish clear communication channels for work environment issues
You will belong to the Technical Safety and Environment team, which is part of the Rigs and Workshops Complete Vehicle organization. Currently, six experienced experts with deep knowledge in work environment and environmental issues work here. The team collaborates closely with the entire Lundby area to create a safe and sustainable development environment for future transport solutions.
To be successful in this role, you need:
- A university degree in engineering, environmental science, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in work environment work and coordinating roles.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- The ability to work 100% onsite in Lundby.
- Preferred: Experience from R&D, production, construction sites, or similar environments.
