The Staffing Center is a municipal operation responsible for Huddinge municipality's substitute management within its own organization. Our mission is to staff and recruit hourly substitutes for various operations within support functions and elderly care during short-term absences such as illness, vacation, or training.

We are currently looking for hourly substitutes for our group and service housing within LSS. Our operations are spread throughout Huddinge, and to know which operations you are interested in working in, you will answer questions in your application.

The job responsibilities include meeting our users' individual needs for care, support, and activities. You treat the residents with respect, focusing on making them feel safe and involved in their care. The assignment also includes medication management after delegation from a nurse.

Your Profile

To be considered for the position, you need to be available at least three days a week. We have operations that are open around the clock every day of the year. Therefore, you need to be able to work varying hours that may occur during the day and evening, both weekdays and weekends. There may also be work during awake nights or sleeping on-call. Since you will be working at different times of the day, particularly high demands are placed on flexibility. You need to be available at short notice. We would like you to be available immediately and also be interested in working during the summer.

You who apply for the position have experience working within support functions. It is particularly meritorious if you have worked with personal care and have experience with challenging behavior and low-arousal approaches. It is also meritorious if you are a trained nursing assistant or childcare worker.

The job places high demands on initiative, collaboration, and problem-solving. You need to be confident in yourself and comfortable working with individuals who are in great need of continuity, structure, and care. Special emphasis is placed on approach, view of humanity, and empathy.

You have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Good computer skills are required as documentation is done on a computer.
