Stockholms Sjukhem offers inpatient specialized rehabilitation (neurological and surgical) in Kungsholmen, as well as rehabilitation for spinal cord injured patients. This summer, we are looking for health and medical care curators for both departments. Care is provided in multiprofessional teams, where we work closely with both the patient and their relatives. Through collaboration, we develop ambitious, qualitative, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual in focus.

We are centrally located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

About the role as a curator

The tasks consist of the usual duties of a health and medical care curator in a department and mainly include;

• Being part of the team regarding discharge planning for patients
• Conducting psychosocial assessments
• Providing conversation support

We work in a team-based manner, which means you will be part of a multiprofessional team that includes doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, discharge coordinators, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, curators, dietitians, and speech therapists. We use the TakeCare journal system.

The position is full-time during the agreed summer period. Working hours are 08:00-16:30. We apply individual salary setting.

Who are you?

You are a trained social worker with experience working as a curator. It is an advantage if you have experience from health and medical care, as well as knowledge and experience in meeting patients and relatives in acute crises. A license as a health and medical care curator is a requirement.

Your personal qualities are important to us. We want you to be communicative, maintain a high level of service, and be unpretentious in your approach to the world. You appreciate variation, switching between a team-oriented and an individual work approach. The position requires you to master the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing, as well as having good computer skills.
