About the role

This is a broad and flexible role that will evolve over time. You will be an important cog in a small but dedicated team that is building the business from the ground up.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Helping to shape processes, methods, and business within PartnerTech Innovation
• Leading the development of prototypes – from manufacturability analyses to production
• Providing technical support to customers and internal projects
• Conducting technical studies, such as material selection or production analyses
• Leading improvement and development projects within production or processes
• Participating in market monitoring, for example through trade shows and customer dialogues

Who you are

To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to have a strong personal drive and curiosity. You enjoy taking initiative, working closely with others, and switching between operational tasks and technical analysis. You need to have a mentality similar to running your own business – you want to understand the whole picture, contribute to improvements, and be part of building something new.

You likely have:

• A degree in engineering, preferably in industrial economics, mechanical engineering, or similar
• An interest in customer relations, improvement work, and innovation
• The ability to communicate well in Swedish, both spoken and written

You may be relatively newly graduated for this position. The most important thing is that you have the right attitude, are self-driven, and enjoy contributing both technically and personally. Experience from a production environment is a plus.

About PartnerTech Precision Technology and PartnerTech Innovation

PartnerTech Innovation AB is a new initiative and a sister company to PartnerTech Precision Technology within the parent company Permec Group. The company is in a growth phase where the defense industry is developing rapidly – and PartnerTech Innovation will contribute to creating new pathways for prototype development, innovation, and growth.

PartnerTech Precision Technology has one of Sweden's most modern and largest facilities for advanced cutting machining. We aim to be our customers' strategic and prioritized partner and provide high competence within our business areas. The production facilities are currently located in Karlskoga and Filipstad and consist of about 85 CNC-controlled machining machines. Additionally, the facilities are equipped with modern equipment for non-destructive testing and measurement. Our business areas primarily include the defense industry, but also the energy sector and general manufacturing industry, which places high demands on quality and reliability.

About the process

The position is a full-time role where the first 6 months of employment will be with Linck, after which it will transition to a permanent position with PartnerTech Innovation. The place of employment is Karlskoga.
