Who are we?

The adult group, dealing with substance abuse and violence in close relationships, addresses adults with substance abuse and dependency issues, individuals living with violence in close relationships, and psychosocial difficulties.

In the unit, there is a chief social worker, five social workers, and two alcohol and drug advisors. Götene Municipality strives to provide support at home as much as possible and to design support in close collaboration with the individual.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker in the adult group, dealing with substance abuse and violence in close relationships, your main task will be to handle substance abuse cases in accordance with SoL and LVM, as well as handling cases of violence in close relationships. The work as a social worker includes motivational work, preliminary assessments, investigations, and follow-ups of adult cases. Furthermore, collaboration is a natural part of the work, both internally and externally. Qualifications

You have a degree in social work or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. We prefer that you have experience working with violence in close relationships and exercising authority within social work with adults. Experience working with the Life Care data system is an advantage.

We expect you to be an empathetic and secure person with personal maturity. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work climate. You are creative, engaged, structured, and responsible. You contribute to driving development work in line with political goals. You can work independently and have a good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.
