We are now looking for an experienced production and/or process engineer for Saab in Järfälla. In this role, you will be part of their production engineering team focused on circuit board manufacturing!

Production development, which is part of production, consists of 5 departments; Production Technology PCBA, Production Technology Assembly, Industrialization, Test Infrastructure, and Test Solutions. Together, they are responsible for the introduction of new products and technical maintenance of existing products to meet customer expectations. They are now looking for a new employee for the department - Production Technology PCBA.

We are looking for someone with an inner drive who has a genuine interest in circuit boards, technology, and machinery. In this role, you will be part of the daily operations and highly involved in developing manufacturing documentation for high-tech circuit boards. You will be part of a competent team that collaborates closely with operators and several other functions within production. In your role, you will work with production preparations and process maintenance. This includes deviation handling and streamlining the entire production process of circuit board manufacturing.

• Process responsible for one or more processes within circuit board manufacturing. You will be involved in purchasing, qualification, improvement work, and training of operators for these processes. If regular process verification is required, you will be responsible for performing and evaluating this.
• You will help lead and implement improvement projects related to our production processes. Identify areas with improvement potential, motivate for new investments, and contribute to continuous development.
• Development and improvements of production flows.
• Support operators in production as production engineering support during daily operations.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechatronics/electronics/mechanical engineering.
• Solid experience in a similar role.
• Experience from circuit board manufacturing and/or other similar industries.
• Knowledge of circuit board design and printed circuit boards.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that after 6-12 months, you will be directly employed by the client.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
