Do you want to help shape the future of technical solutions in sustainable production? We are now looking for a Technical Specialist for a six-month consulting assignment through us at Arho, with very good opportunities for direct employment with the client after the assignment ends.

About the assignment: You will work for a leading manufacturer of natural scented candles, diffusers, and environmentally friendly home fragrance products. It is an innovative and sustainable player with a global reach. The company is based in Sweden and offers high-quality, customizable products to well-known brands around the world.

About the role: As a Technical Specialist, you will play a central role in the technical development of production, both strategically and operationally. You will work on automation projects, technical procurement, machine investments, and training of technical staff. The role involves close collaboration with management and production to drive improvements and investments in new technology.

Your tasks:

  • Contribute technical expertise in the procurement of equipment, automation, and machinery
  • Lead and drive projects in automation, robotics, and new machine equipment
  • Provide technical support in the escalation of production problems
  • Train production technicians and process operators in technical equipment
  • Develop technical specifications and requirements together with suppliers
  • Identify improvement opportunities in production technology and automation
  • Support management with technical analyses, business cases, and investment proposals

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Several years of experience in technical project management, automation, or machine development
  • Experience working in projects between suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of production technology, robotics, and automation systems
  • Experience in technical procurement and writing requirement specifications
  • Good communication skills in both Swedish and English

Meritorious:

  • Technical education in, for example, mechanical engineering, automation, or similar
  • Background in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience training technical staff
  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on

As a person, you are: Solution-oriented and analytical, with the ability to see technical challenges as opportunities for improvement. You work in a structured and independent manner but also enjoy collaborating with others and are used to communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You have a genuine interest in the role of technology in more sustainable and efficient production.
