About us

Capio Lundby Specialistsjukhus is located at Wieselgrensplatsen, less than 10 minutes by public transport from central Gothenburg. Through a comprehensive care agreement with the Västra Götaland region, we provide specialist healthcare in dialysis/kidney medicine, surgery, medicine, psychiatry, ophthalmology, ENT, and an operating unit for day surgery. We have about 220 employees who together form a small and efficient organization with high competence and short decision-making paths. The hospital is characterized by a consistent focus on quality and a strong patient focus with good continuity and high availability. At our ENT clinic, we investigate adults and children with diseases and issues within the specialty area of ear, nose, and throat. We currently have 8 specialists who run parallel clinics and outpatient surgeries. Major surgeries are performed at our day surgery unit. We offer a varied clinic with patients of different ages and with various issues. There is also the opportunity for deepening within different subspecialties.

At the ENT clinic, we work in a well-developed team consisting of specialists, nurses, nursing assistants, audiologists, medical secretaries, and an operations coordinator. We offer an engaging and developing workplace with a clear patient focus where you get the opportunity to follow your patient over time.

In addition to basic ENT healthcare, the following are included in the operations:

• Sleep apnea investigation.
• Phoniatric investigation.
• Dizziness investigation.
• Investigation for patients with hearing and tinnitus issues.
• Surgeries such as tubes, abrasion, tonsils, vocal cords, septum, FESS.

We are looking for a specialist physician/senior physician in the field of ear, nose, and throat who has the will and interest to continue developing the operations at Capio Lundby Hospital together with an experienced and committed team.

We place great importance on personal suitability. You are positive, self-assured, and take your own initiatives. For us, it is important that you are engaged and interested in driving healthcare forward and have a holistic view with the patient in focus.

We value your ability to structure and prioritize work effectively. We have a high patient flow and work closely together in the team. Therefore, it is also important that you have good collaboration skills, a pedagogical approach, and are flexible.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime.

For permanent employment, we apply a 6-month probationary period.
