Capio Lundby Specialist Hospital is located at Wieselgrensplatsen, less than 10 minutes by public transport from central Gothenburg. Through a comprehensive care agreement with the Västra Götaland region, we provide specialist healthcare in dialysis/kidney medicine, surgery, medicine, psychiatry, ophthalmology, ENT, and an operating unit for day surgery.

At the Diabetes Clinic at Capio Lundby Specialist Hospital, there is a well-functioning teamwork with doctors, diabetes nurses, dietitians, podiatrists, physiotherapists, social workers, and medical secretaries. Our effective team works according to national guidelines with the goal that all patients receive the care and knowledge they need based on their personal needs. The clinic's results in the national diabetes registry are of high national quality.

In addition to our own clinic Monday to Friday, multidisciplinary foot rounds are conducted once a month in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and orthotic technicians. Close collaboration with the kidney clinic, eye clinic, psychiatry clinic, and heart clinic allows the diabetes team to receive support in patient care, which provides good nursing for the patient.

We are looking for you who is a specialist doctor in diabetology. We seek someone with a great interest and commitment to medical quality and operational development within your specialty. You enjoy influencing, taking responsibility, have good collaboration skills, and consider good communication and a positive attitude important. You work with a focus on quality and efficiency. Since the predecessor intends to gradually phase out their position, there is an opportunity for support and guidance if desired.
